Launch of the new Junior Raiders.
With
the help of our new Junior Club sponsors, Care Learning Centre
and John Rowell Estate Management, we are re-naming
all our junior club teams as Junior Raiders! To launch our new look teams,
we’d like all players to come to the game on the 12th to model the
new team jerseys for the fans at the game. This will take place during
the first intermission.
To make sure we can say a very big thank you to our sponsors, the Wightlink
Raiders management have agreed to give FREE ENTRY to all Players and a
SPECIAL PLAYER FAMILY PRICE of just £10 for the night. So Players
and Families, please come along and make a big night of it!
The Isle of Wight Junior Ice Hockey Club would like to congratulate the U16 Junior Raiders for winning the U16 South 2 League this season. A hard fought home four goals a piece draw against Invicta was enough to secure the League title in what is only the second time that an Isle of Wight junior club has ever done so.
This will mean that the U16 Junior Raiders will be playing in the top division next season.
Congratulations to all players, parents and everyone associated with the team.
